My Chance is a youth development program dedicated to empowering young people through mentorship, life skills training, and practical support. The program currently serves over 80 children and youth who attend sessions every Wednesday, travelling from communities such as Manenberg, Hanover Park, and surrounding areas. My Chance focuses on supporting young people who are not in employment, education, or training, as well as learners who are at risk of falling behind, helping them build confidence, develop discipline, and set meaningful goals for their future.

Each weekly session offers a holistic support structure, including academic tutoring in key school subjects such as languages, mathematics, and science, alongside life coaching sessions that focus on personal development, values, decision-making, and resilience. To further promote healthy lifestyles and teamwork, the program also includes structured physical activities.

Understanding the challenges many of these young people face, the program ensures that every participant is provided with a nutritious meal each week, creating a safe and supportive environment where learning and growth can take place.
